Happy New Year and all that Jazz....Oh look Elephants

Well I am back after a few months off, I will blame work and personal events.
But the reality is I am just very lazy :)
I have been slowly painting up my Carthaginian Army for this years Southcon event.
400 points with 2 generals, I will post the list later as I am still in theorymachine mode about what to take.
The below pictures are from the game I had last weekend, Tom was nice enough to  run his EIR army against me, it was the first time he had used two generals... I hope he had fun...well he won so that always helps :)
My Army ready for battle

Oh look an Elephant

The evil EIR ready to kill my peace loving elephants

Close in shot of Tom's troops

The first turn advance towards the Romans

Those elephants are getting nice and close

Waiting for the moment to charge

The cavalry wing in action

The parts of my army I am still waiting on to arrive

Elephant on legion action

Just another pic

YAY the cavalry wing has won its duel

High point of the battle for me

Well crap..... no elephants

Close in picture of some horses

Roman victory.... boo hiss
As always a great game of Impetus, Tom was so much fun to play against, even with his Chain Attack Casino dice, those things are great :)
Hope to have another post sooner rather than later, but lets be honest this blog is a tad hit and miss.

  1. It was a cracking game Tim - and to be fair if it wasn't for your sound advice you would have used those elephants to smash me :)
